Justin at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards

Our favorite teenage superstar won big at the Billboard Music Awards, walking away with six awards, including Digital Artist of the Year.  Justin Bieber was initially nominated  for 11 awards, so he won over half of the categories he’d been nominated for.

Following the ceremony, Justin embraced his pop star girlfriend ,Selena Gomez , and said: “I want to thank anybody who helped me get out of my hometown and live out my dream!”

Justin’s “My World 2.0″ album won the “Pop Album” category at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards. It was intended to be a  complement to his first album, and featured several top charting singles including “Baby,” winner of the “Streaming Song” category.

Bieber has made recent appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards, The Dome in Europe, MuchMusic in Canada, and also on the Today Show .
